This is a logo for a package design that I made for an assignment in my class.
It's called Wooly Mammoth.

It's a sock company that makes luxury wool socks.
The Mascot is a Woolly Mammoth wearing the wool sock on his trunk.

I made this logo in Adobe Illustrator.
The Adobe font I used is called: Gastromond Regular.

Before I decided with the name "Wooly Mammoth," I did some brainstorming with some other ideas.

After coming up with a few ideas, I decided that "Wooly Mammoth" was the one that I was going to go with. I felt that the name and the mascot went fit my idea with wool socks.
After picking my logo design I decided to make a mood board on how I wanted my final logo design to look.

I made this mood board in Adobe Photoshop.

I found some pictures online that would fit the theme of my final design. (I DO NOT OWN THESE PHOTOS OTHER THAN MY LOGO DESIGN.)

I really liked "Bombas & Corgi's" font design and the navy blue color they chose. I wanted the same style for my final logo design. I also liked "Bombas" choice of font, it was big and bold, but had a little bit of playfulness to it. Which was the same style I wanted for my final logo design.
After coming up with the final design, I finally had to make a package design for my logo to go on to.

I wanted to use something unique so I decided to use a "Glam Glow" box for my product.
I first made a sketch of where my logo would go, the introduction as well as the barcode.

I scanned the box a few times, put the pictured pieces together in Photoshop and then make a die cut in Illustrator.

Here's a picture of the final package design.

I made the final package design in Adobe InDesign.

The Adobe fonts I used were: Blanket, Gelica & Gelica Light Italic.
I included this banana socks photo for my final package design.

I found this photo on Unsplash, courtesy of Gabriella Henderson
Here is the final package design of "Wooly Mammoth" in real package form from all sides.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view my project. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did making it.

Thank you! :)
